Married with Zombies read-along: Week Three
Chapters 11-15
1. In Chapter 11 Sarah, Dave & Amanda were rushed by 4 zombies. At this time Sarah screams something. SHOW ME YOURS!! Don’t have one? That is ok, show me what you would grab outside to protect your self!!
I guess it’s lucky that I recently took shooting lessons. My sister had been wanting some for her birthday, so I took her to a shooting range. Some girlfriends of ours tagged along and it was quite the party!
2. At the end of Chapter 12 they are saved by someone looking very “Underworld” awesome. Let me see your best “Slay em’ Gear”. Don’t want to model your outfit? That is ok, lay it out.. don’t forget to add your weapons!!
I always feel like a complete bad ass when I wear my Buffy shirt. I know I have the slayer gene somewhere in me. It’s just sleeping. But I have no doubt it will emerge when I need it. Zombies Beware!
3. Near the end of Chapter 13 Sarah finds something under the seat to help Dave, that she saved for whenever the need gave in. What was it? “Strike” your best pose!
I don’t smoke so it’s kind of odd that I have this many lighters in my house. I guess my addition to candles is a healthy one.
4. Nothing very “action pic” happens in Chapters 14 & 15. So this is where you can show me what car you would pick to ride around town, trying to survive.
I’ve only had Polly (my Chevy Sonic) since February, but I’m already dearly attached to her, so there’s no way I could abandon her. She would be my getaway car of choice.
5. How are you enjoying the book so FAR?!!!
I really like how David and Sarah are sticking together and doing their best to work as a team. I think they are going to make it.

Yay Buffy! You are going to be the best zombie slayer ever! I can feel it in my bones. And I’d end up in my Jetta as a getaway car. I just know it. Plus the girls car seats are in it. LOL! I don’t have a single lighter. Matches galore, but no lighter. That gun in your hand is hawt! I feel like I’ll be headed to TX for your protection. Buffy-Missie will help me kick ass! And we’ll bake.

Ohhh, shooting party! x) That sounds like it’d be so much fun, although I’d probably be the girl who misses the target by five miles LOL… With that and your Buffy shirt, I think you’re pretty kick-butt, Missie! No zombie would dare mess with you. And I love how you picked this awesome black getaway car when I would’ve chosen a yellow truck that probably wouldn’t be very conspicuous amongst the zombies x)
Love your answers, Missie! Scented candles are the next best thing besides baking cookies, so your love is justified!

I really need to take shooting lessons as well. Buffy shirt does look like an awesome saying outfit! I’m glad I am not the only one with a candle addiction. My lighters end up outside to light the BBque and fire pit so I am down to matches. I hope that Polly doesn’t get dented during your getaway!

Yeah Missie! I can see you kicking some ass your Buffy shirt and then tearing away in Polly to get to the next ass-kicking location. Woot! This is such a fun read-along, I love how the questions make you guys show so much of your personality:)

What a fun way to do a read-along! The only time I’ve ever shot a gun was in a friend’s back yard (clearly they had a big back yard) in Augusta Georgia. I think it was a semi-automatic rifle. I sent a photo of me aiming to my mother. That was definitely a shock for her!

I’ve been dying to take shooting lessons. It’s almost a prerequisite to living in the South, it seems. Still, I do want to be prepared for the zombie apocalypse…LOL!

I went target shooting with one my best gal pals for my b-day too! Girls night at the shooting range near me is free lane and gun rental, woo-hoo!

LOVE that you went to a shooting range! I really want to. The honeyman and I are going shooting with some friends later next month, but that’ll be like on an outside range and stuff. But yay for learning how to use firearms!

Ooo, I want to take shooting lessons! I’d never keep a gun anywhere in my house but I think it’d be interesting to at least know how to use one.

Wow, seriously fun questions! And answers, obviously. I feel like I am missing out now, not joining in. These read-alongs really are a great way to learn more about the blogger, while still keeping it book related. LOVE the Buffy shirt and I think it would be a lot of fun/kind of scary to take shooting lessons… can’t decide which though, haha!

Missie!! I can see it now: We go to a shooting party dressed as BtVS characters with lots and lots of scented candles. I think it would be a blast!
