My Book Boyfriend (62): Fang
Since my addiction to the Vampire for Hire series by by J.R. Rain is still running high, I thought I’d spotlight another man in Samantha Moon’s life. Yes, not only does the lucky girl have the ever delicious Kingsley Fulcrum sniffing after her tail, she also has the mysterious FANG, aka, the American Vampire, vying for her affection.
Okay, I’ll be the first to admit that Fang isn’t typical book boyfriend material. In fact, there is still a lot about him I don’t know. Oh, and apparently his obsession with vampires has lead to something hardcore that left his former girlfriend dead. Yikes!!! Sam did meet him in an online chatroom, so I guess he could be a complete nutcase. Still, there is more that meets the eye with this fellow; I’m sure of it.
FANG:
- his real name is Aaron Parker, but he goes by the alias, Eli Roberts
- looks to be about 30
- has short brown hair and big brown eyes
- has dimples in his cheeks and chin
- usually sports a beard and wears a combination of metal and leather bracelets
- works at a bar called Hero’s as a mixologist
- is obsessed with vampires and wears a necklace of two sharp teeth
- is a convinced killer
- might be a psychopath, and is definitely a stalker
Aaron Parker was tall. Perhaps one of the tallest men I had ever seen. I suspected he was an athlete and I resisted the urge to ask him if he played basketball. Aaron had full lips. The kind most women drool over. He had sad puppy dog eyes, as brown and bright as polished cherry wood. But it was his mouth that I found the most curious. He didn’t seem to know what to do with those beautiful lips of his. Sometimes he pulled them as if snarling. And sometimes they seemed to drape over his lower lip. Often they moved and shifted and I kept having the impression he was about to say something, but words rarely followed the movement. It was the oddest twitch I had ever seen.
Finally, his moving lips formed words. When he spoke, he did so softly. If not for my better-than-average hearing, I might have missed what he said: “I remember everything you tell me, Samantha.”

My Fang is being played by actor James Carpinello. Yes, I know his eyes aren’t brown, but they’re still incredible! *le swoon*

“…might be a psychopath, and is definitely a stalker…” < -- LOL only you could pick one of these boys and still make him look awesome, Missie! For example, I think that dimples cancels this out a little bit. :P And that quote made me grin! All heroines tend to always know when someone says their name before they tell it, but I'd probably just think that someone told him LOL... which means I would be terrible at identifying a stalker!! x)
P.S. He DOES have incredible eyes, Missie! :') I <3 blue!

I haven't started the Vamp for Hire series yet…but I really want to! I'm not sure about Fang though…definitely not typical Book Boyfriend…but I'll have to take your advice oh fabulous book boyfriend goddess
