When I realized the month was almost over and I still hadn’t fulfilled my own reading goal for the Show Me the Free Reading Challenge I’m hosting, I was more than happy to lose myself in a smutty romance because they make for quick reads. Glad to report that I got ‘er done… with a fun Texas tail to boot!

Ha! Okay, so in Pack Challenge, don’t expect anything too original in the overall plot. Wolf shape shifter Zach is looking for the daughter of two slain members of his pack. When he finds her, he admits to feeling instantly attracted to her despite the fact that she walks with a limp and has a scar on her face. But Zach is in line to take over the Magnus Pack as the Alpha male. The last thing he needs or wants is to become a love sick puppy.
Sarah believes her life is as good as it’s gonna get. But the terrible pain in her leg is getting worse, causing her to drink too much and make out with strangers. She almost would have been able to forget the large, hot guy she assaulted with her tongue if he hadn’t walked into the bike shop where she works. Zack’s sexy smirk immediately warns Sarah that he is nothing but trouble. Problem is, she likes trouble.
Even if Zack and Sarah’s story was a classic case of insta-love, it still made for a sizzling hot romance between them. They could hardly keep their paws off each other, and Zack, typical Alpha male that he was, doesn’t play nice in the bedroom. Rawr… er… howl.
But the best thing about the story was the infectious friendship between Sarah and her best friends Angie and Miki. Those bitches (their words, not mine) had a crazy ass banter between them that was reminiscent of carefree college days and bar hopping on 6th Street with your girls. *shifty eyes*
There was a subplot where another shifter pride was after Sarah, but the situation was quickly defused with some fun action scenes. Pack Challenge may not blow your mind, but it’s not a bad read if you are looking for a little Hill Country escape between heavier stuff.

I liked this one too! I love her stuff – quick fast reads with fun characters! I am not doing the free books challenge – I already have too many challenges, but I love to pick up the free reads anyway! Can't wait for more from her!

Anyway, I'm french and your image disturbs me anytime I see it because…. Well… In french, you would “RisquéS Reads”, just so you know !
But Maybe “Risqué” is been used in the common english vocabulary and I don't know about it.

You're not wrong, Missie–”risqué” has been incorporated into the English language, and since we don't change our adjective forms to match nouns like speakers of most romance languages, there is no plural form of “risqué” in English.
