I think the best thing about book blogging is meeting other book lovers! That is why I was thrilled to recently come across Ariel’s blog, The French Poet. It’s so pretty! As an aspiring librarian, Ariel has also started a book blog, The Librarian’s Bookshelf. You must check out her blogs!

But first, let’s meet Ariel and snoop around to see what she is up to when she is not reading.

Hello! I’m sure most of you have never heard of me. Sooo, I shall tell you a bit about me! Sound good?

I am 19 years old, and am going to college to be a librarian. Yep, I’m that much of a book nerd. In fact, my undergrad major is information systems, which is computers. Does that make me a double nerd? I obviously love to read, or I wouldn’t be here…. heh heh. I even made a separate blog just for my book stuff, The Librarian’s Bookshelf!

I have two laptops. Yes, two. And they both have names.

This is Macy, my beloved MacBook. I spend waaaay too much time using her for Facebook, blogs and other homework procrastinating tools. She is my baby. I also have an Acer named Apollo, but he’s not the photogenic type so he requested no pics. Sorry guys, have to keep him happy!

I also love spending time with my friends. We do so much together! We watch old movies (Audrey Hupburn, anyone?), go to our local drive-in, and go square dancing!

And this…. is me. With my natural blond hair. (Which I dyed brown.)

And my beloved kitty, Midnight. (Who died. Sniff sniff.) As you can see… I also have a bit of an obsession with fairies. Especially a certain fairy by the name of Tinkerbell. Maybe you’ve heard of her? Yeahhh. That might just be my nickname… but you didn’t hear that from me! I’m even getting a tattoo sometime in the future of a fairy.

Ha! Ariel. The last time I square danced was in the fifth grade. Good times. Good times. And, I have a Macbook that I’m crazy in love with too, which I’ve also named. I name everything, my Kindles, my plants. Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself Ariel! I’m sorry to hear about your kitty.*hugs*
