How far does she have to go to get his attention? Another girl’s arms? Melina Wenham is worried and frustrated. Lately, her boyfriend of six months seems to have lost interest in her. Yes, she knows he’s stressed about his big project at work, but jeez, it seems like he’d rather go solo than have sex with her. Sexy lingerie, a Brazilian…nothing seems to get his attention.Gavin’s frustrated too. He’s under enough pressure at work, without feeling more from Melina every time he gets home.
Another night, another party, and Gavin is off talking to the boys. Feeling ignored yet again, Melina confides her troubles to an acquaintance, Abby, who suggests shaking him up by flirting with another guy. Hmm. Not a bad idea, except there are no flirt-worthy guys at this party.
Then Abby suggests a different tack—flirt with her.
Could a little girl-on-girl tango be the match that reignites romance with Gavin? There’s only one way to find out…
Warning: Hot girl on girl scene!
Review:
Sometimes you need to read a story about nothing to take a break from heavier material. Something light and fun to take your mind off of all the drama. Love Me was exactly that kind of read.
Worried that her boyfriend Gavin has lost interest in her, Melina tries everything she can think of to entice him, even investing in some sexy lingerie. But she is humiliated when Gavin falls asleep on her in the middle of third base.
Desperate to get his attention, Melina partakes in a bit of harmless filtration with Abby, a shameless player who often plays on both teams.
When Gavin continues to ignore Melina, she decides to take things with Abby a step further. But when the two are caught in the act, it doesn’t take much to convince Gavin to join in.
Reading this was a little out of my comfort zone because of the girl on girl sexy times, but it wasn’t too bad. With short stories, character development isn’t always so great. In Love Me, the character’s personalities were quickly established. Melina appeared to be selfish but was genuinely concerned about her relationship with Gavin. Gavin was a typical guy who doesn’t like to discuss his feelings, but truly loved Melina and just failed to show it because of his work-a-holic nature. Both were lacking communication skills.
I got the Love Me e-book as a free Kindle download on Amazon on October 3, 2010. It is now listed for $2.00. Pretty steamy read, if you are comfortable with f/m/f scenes. Don’t expect any great epiphanies other than the obvious, guys can’t resist girl on girl action. Plus, gotta love the craptastic cover. Every time I look at it, I can’t help giggling.

I know I'm going to have a few of these for your challenge! Why is it that so many free books are steamy romances? Nice review!

I agree with the cover. It is giggle worthy.
I don't know if it is for me b/c of the lack of communication. Too much of it and it annoys me in a book. I want to slap them both up the side of the head.
Great review tho!

LOL. The cover is bad, lucky you read it on your kindle and didn't have to walk around with the book.
I agree that I need some light and fun romance books every now and then just to have a break from my usual books. This one I think is a little out of my comfort zone maybe a little too steamy
