My Book Boyfriend (1): Will Trombal
Okay, so he may not know the difference between Trotsky and Tolstoy, but Saving Francesca‘s William Trombal is still a totally swoon worthy book boyfriend. Wanna see why? Well, go ahead. Yes, I give you permission to check out my book boyfriend.
Francesca’s description of Will:
He has a strange face. It’s all sharpness and angles and incredibly fair skin. But then he’s got this thatch of black hair that’s such a contrast. It’s like two cultures had a massive fight over his face and neither won.

The first time that Will kissed Francesca, I melted. The way he stalked across the room to her was crazy sexy. This is what she said about it:

Will may be backpacking through Europe right now, I’m not sure, but I hope to find out a little more about him in The Piper’s Son (which releases in the U.S. on March 8th. *looks at today’s date and sobs buckets*)
Will Trombal is the love interest in Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta. He is the type of character where you have to say his first and last name together every time you refer to him, just because you love the way the name rolls off your tongue. My Will Trombal has been cast by Logan Lerman. Who would you cast as Will Trombal?

Great post!
I might make mine a little more like yours in the future — but this time I picked a character from books I read months ago so it was a little hard to go back and get too many direct quotes. From now on I'll be bookmarking things as I'm reading that I think would be good for Book Boyfriend posts =)

He's such an interesting book boyfriend, too. Swoon-worthy, because we sympathize with Francesca, but also such a droid that you just throw your hands up at some point and think, “Man, does she really need a person who can't pencil her into his life schedule?”
