In My Mailbox (18): Skool Edition
Stupid is as stupid does. And since my brain was beginning to turn into mush and leak out of ears, I decided to sign up for a class!
Yay me! I’m going back to skool!
Got my school books in this week. Just in time too because my class starts on Wednesday. Looks like it is going to be an interesting semester.

Time’s Arrow by Martin Amis
A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters by Julian Barnes
Possession by A. S. Byatt

Chatterton by Peter Ackroyd
The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
Atonement: A Novel by Ian McEwan

Waterland by Graham Swift
Fingersmith by Sarah Waters
Sexing the Cherry by Jeanette Winterson
I’m so excited. Question: Should I be that dorky kid that shows up on the first day of class with all their books?
Before you go, check out my giveaway! Win a copy of Saving Francesca AND The Piper’s Son by Melina Marchetta. Go here for details!

Good for you for heading back to school. =)
I always take my books to class, but I'm a nerd like that. Usually, we don't use them, but a couple of my Accounting Professors have us use them for the exercises.

This class is going to be awesome. I wish I could take it with you!

I had to read Remains of the Day last semester for a lit & film class. I have to admit, I was not a fan!
Still, those are some other pretty awesome books that you are reading. I haven't gotten through Atonement in its entirety but I loved the movie.

Pfft. All the books that I buy for school are textbooks about Vertebrate Palaeontology and Hominid Evolution and the like. These look decidedly more interesting.

Remains of the Day and Atonement are the only ones I've read, but I loved them.
Fancy that…nice titles for school, eh? Enjoy!
