“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted on Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

I suppose it is no big surprise that my pick for today’s WoW is the sequel to the book I just finished, the one I can’t get out of my head, If I Stay.

I really want to know:

Where She Went by Gayle Forman
It’s been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam’s life forever.

Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard’s rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia’s home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future and each other.

Told from Adam’s point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

Release Date: April 5, 2011 *sobs*

Just read your review of If I Stay, and like the complete stalker I am, had to comment on your WOW post while I was here. Definitely need to read the first one so I can be a complete basket case while waiting for this second book:)

hehe, I think you meant the “sequel” not the “squeal”. That's okay, I can think of many books that make me want to squeal :)
I haven't read If I Stay yet but I've heard amazing things, so I should get on that so I can read this one when it comes out!

This was seriously almost my pick, too! If I Stay just about killed me for a few days – it just broke my heart. I know they are just characters in a book, but I keep hoping for wonderful things for Adam and Mia. Perfect pick.

Ha! The Unread Loser, that would be a funny blog name:) Sorry for randomly responding to your comment on my WOW post in yours, I was going to send you an email but then decided comments were more fun.

To answer your question, yes the Psy-Changeling series is like the BDB in that each book focuses on a different hero/heroine, but they're all related (not genetically) to one another. I don't think this series is as powerful or addicting as the BDB, but Hawke has long been my favorite character and I'm dying for his book. Please give me the tortured hero and his HEA:)

ASK FOR THE ARC! There are no secret service men employed at the publishing houses. They can't afford it. So, put on your depends and ASK FOR THE ARC!! ;)

How do you think I got the Replacement. I begged like a doggie. :D
