Yeah, yeah. I know you have heard it all before, but again, when I first started book blogging, I was such a n00b (and still am). I turned to a lot of my favorite bloggers for help and advice. One sexy, bookworming blogger not only offered me some helpful tips like how to add a menu bar or how to add that RT button thingy, she was also a great source of inspiration to me!

So today, on Thanksgiving, I’m so happy and thankful to have Sophia from Fiction Vixen Book Reviews here to talk about her life outside of reading. Check it out!

I never really thought of myself as a boring person. But when Missie invited to me stop by The Unread Reader and talk about what I do when I’m not reading I realized I’m just not that interesting. I’m just an average suburban, minivan driving, wife and mother to three girls. Fear me.

When I’m not reading, I’m thinking about reading. I’m also carting kids to the library, school, park and doing all the fun things that go along with being a mom. I wipe noses, sweep up cookie crumbs, cart the kiddos to gymnastics and various activities. I cook, I clean, and I complain about cooking and cleaning. I love my life and wouldn’t change a thing.

I’m quite lucky to live in a gorgeous climate so we can spend our weekends at the zoo, park or beach or enjoying the various attractions our city has to offer pretty much year around. One of my favorite things to do is spend the afternoon at the lake near my home feeding the ducks, especially in spring after the ducklings have hatched.

I also love movies. My girlfriends and I used to get together once or twice a month for a movie date, usually a chick flick, starring Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock. But these days my movies dates are at home with the hubby and NetFlix. He likes action movies and I like Sci-Fi so we try to compromise for something we’ll both like. Our mutual favorite is The Matrix. We’ve watched it too many times to count.

I could go on and on with my fascinating life but I’ll stop here so as to not overwhelm you with excitement. Don’t be jealous. ☺

Thanks for inviting me to The Unread Reader today Missie. I now know I’m boring beyond tears and I need to look into bungee jumping or something LOL!

*le sigh* Isn’t Sophia super sexy! And she definitely makes reading sexy, too. I mean I dare you to find anyone else who has the balls guts to put Z in a dress! If you haven’t yet, don’t forget to check out the most fascinating Fever series post ever, Welcome to the Darkfever Discussion (which I’ve read at least five times). The post is part of a Fever series read-a-long that Sophia is co-hosting.

P.S. Sophia, I have actually bungee jumped before, and it is so freaking scary, I wouldn’t recommend it anyone! And I tell you, I’d much rather cart around kids, even if they weren’t my own, than do that ever again. Yeah, you only live once, but it is better to live on solid ground in my opinion. LOL

Kelli–Glad I could make you smile today! :) I think I'll take Missie's advice and skip the bungee jumping for now. I'll read a book instead.

Sophia – you're not alone, I consider myself a very boring person as well! I'm like a hermit that works from home, blogs from home, and am always basically, well, home:) Love that you have movie dates with hubs via Netflix:)

Thanks for this feature Missie, I love reading about the people behind the blogs:)

Jenny–I love my boring life. I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Wow you get to work from home too? You could potentially stay in pajamas all day! :)

Great guest post! I also love Sophia's blog and like her didn't realize how much my life and interests completely revolved around reading until I was asked what else I do :)

Bungee jumping? I don't think I'd do it for a million dollars. One of my greatest fears is falling :(
