Poor Amelia! I harassed her endlessly until she agreed to be featured on When I’m not Reading. I should say I feel bad about the cyber stalking, but I don’t because now she is here! *bounces* Let’s see what’s up. Take it away, Authoress!
My life outside of reading is very uneventful. Reading takes up such a huge chunk of my time—I’ve been escaping into books since I was five-years-old. So prepare yourself for some epic boredom.
The main thing I do outside of reading is watching TV with my old man. *gasp* I know. How many sixteen-year-olds would give up actual time out of their oh-so-busy schedules to watch TV with their fathers? Well, me and Dad are tight. We always watch TV in the evening. Our favorite shows include NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-O, The Andy Griffith Show, M*A*S*H, Numb3rs, The Mentalist, and All in the Family. We’re constantly quoting from them. Yes, pathetic, but hey, it’s really fun. 
I’m also a huge computer geek. It’s the second thing I do the most when I’m not reading. I’m always fussing around with graphics, reading through other blogs, trolling through Goodreads for new books, or waiting pathetically for an email to respond to—yep, I love getting emails. This is all done while listening to SOME type of music.
Usually I have Pandora Radio playing from my sidebar (instrumental music only) or else I’m listening to my rock/pop/misc. music from Playlist.com. On quiet days like these, I put on my piano soloists—Yiruma, Jim Brickman, Jon Schmidt, Michelle McLaughlin, Joseph Wesley, etc.
I also write. I’m working on a book right now but due to school—the ultimate dictator—I can’t focus on it like I want to. I can barely scrape a few minutes to read in the evenings.
WAKE UP! I’m finishing up right now, I promise. I told you my life isn’t very exciting. Books give me more excitement than I’ll ever experience in real life. But I do love watching TV with my old man and getting glued to my computer.
Oh dear…I think my wrists are stuck to my laptop…-_-

I used to watch TV with my parents every night when I was a teen
Actually I still go over to their house and join them for a show now.
