*squee heard round the world* Traveling up to Austin from South Texas was totally worth the five hour road trip! Wanna see why?

Anastasia Hopcus, author of Shadow Hills and me! I was so nervous to meet her that I was shaking like a leaf! How embarrassing! Luckily, she was so sweet, and pretended not to notice my total and complete dorkiness. :D

Holly Black, me, and Kelley Armstrong! Funniest ladies ever!

Alyson Noel and me wearing our super cool Smart Chicks Kick It Tour tour tees. Don’t we looks like twins?! (Don’t answer that!)

Just two Honey Bees! Melissa Marr and me.

Cannibal squirrels anyone? The awesomest that is Rachel Caine and me.

Yup, pink fuzzy dreams do come true! Cassandra Clare and me!

I can’t believe I didn’t faint! This event was epic! I’m so happy I was able to attending the kick off day of the tour at Book People in Austin. Not only did I meet some fabulous authors, I met some great people as well. Yes, I was a shy, nerd, but everyone was so super nice. And the best part?! I got so many books signed! Prue Win!

Afterward, my sister (who went with me) and I were so buzzed on the excitement of it all, that we decided to go to the next tour stop in Houston! Yes, we will be paying for it dearly when we return home to face reality, but sleep is for the weak!

I am sooo freaking jealous!! All those fab women in one room and you with a camera… le sigh. Why oh why, won't they come to sunny Miami… c'est la vie.

That's awesome! I'm so jealous. I love Kelley Armstrong and I've just gotten addicted to the Morganville vampires series. I wish this tour was coming up by me!

Oh. My. God. Missie you are one lucky girl. What an amazing experience to have. And you look like you had such a great time.

*whispers* Next time you go to one of these things, ask all the authors to pop by Denmark.

Wow, Missie! The event looks like it was SO much fun! I've only met a couple of authors – Lisa Mangum and Bree Despain, but this just looks fabulous! :)

So jealous! I have interviewed Melissa, Alyson, and Cassandra for my YA fantasy website but have never met them. I keep begging SmartChicks through Twitter to come to the east coast next time around. I am so obsessed with the Mortal Instrument series, I cannot even tell you. Jace is my fictional boyfriend! LOL!

Hey Natalie! I was at the Austin and Woodlands signing. I live in South Texas, so yeah, I'm kind of far away.
