In My Mailbox (3)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren.  To find out more about this meme or to participate check out the details on The Story Siren‘s IMM page.

Since I put myself on a book buying ban (*shifty eyes*) I signed up for an overload of tour books via Book It Forward. Little did I know that the books would be hitting me all at once!  *races off to read, then mail them out*

Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus
The Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
The Nightmarys by Dan Poblocki
When Blood Calls by J.K. Beck
Luckily, regardless of the ban, there is nothing I can do about books I pre-ordered months ago! Right?! *shrugs* Thankfully, the lovely people at Amazon, never ceasing to fail me, shipped them to my doorstep! It’s like Christmas and my birthday all rolled up into one every single time I see that smiling box! *bounce ‘n squee*

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
Forget You by Jennifer Echols

Now tell me, what did you get this week? I wanna drool and be jelly! And while you are here, check out my first giveaway ever: The New Me blog design giveaway! Ends Aug. 6th

Those are some really great books.
“Forget You” and “Clockwork Angel” are on my TBR list.

I read “Shiver” and wasn't as impressed as others with the story…something was missing for me. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on that one.

I've severly limited my book buying in the last several months. And instead, I have been saving myself oodles of money by getting most of my books from the library.

Shiver and Linger! I'm jealous – I've entered every contest I can to win Linger and no luck yet. Soon I'm going to have to just give in and go to the bookstore.

Lots of great books…

Thanks for mentioning Book It Forward, I just signed up for that! What a great idea.
I've been severely limiting my book-buying forever. I hardly buy books, I just borrow them from the library. Problem with that is that by the time I get them, they're usually old – relatively, that is – a few months old. With Book It Forward, I can read fresh new books without having to pay what I can't afford – how great!

I like the cover of that Shadow Hills one! It's awesome! I'm also sure you are the envy of tons of bloggers that are aching to have Linger in their hands. I keep seeing people pining for it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog to look at my In My Mailbox post. I try to find quirky pictures of mailboxes when I do it so I'm glad you liked it. It was pretty hilarious!
